Occupational Therapy for children, teens, and adults with complex movement and neurological conditions

 Therapy, reimagined

as adventure

At BBR, therapy isn’t about ticking off a checklist — it’s about saying yes to the things that matter to you. For one person, that might be learning to transfer safely from a chair to the couch. For another, it might be nailing that transfer so they can launch themselves into a skydiving harness.

Your “big adventure” might be cooking a meal, catching the train to uni, joining a sports team, dancing at your best friend’s wedding, or reading bedtime stories to your kids. Whatever it is — big, bold, everyday, or somewhere in between — we’ll walk (or roll, or splash, or run) beside you to make it possible.

We support children, adolescents and adults living with complex movement and neurological conditions — including cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury (ABI/TBI), stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), hypermobility disorders (including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome), spinal cord injury, amputations, Down syndrome, developmental delay, autism, and degenerative conditions.

Our team of Occupational Therapists don’t just deliver therapy. We co-create adventures that build skills, independence, connection, and confidence — always in a way that makes sense for your life.

Occupational Therapy for Complex Needs

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy (OT) is all about creating your life, your way.
For some, that might mean learning how to butter toast one-handed after a stroke. For others, it could be landing their first job, joining a sports team, or finally getting a driver’s licence and heading out on a road trip with friends.

Our OTs look past the “can’t” and focus on the “want.” From developmental play with little ones, to building independence as a teenager, to re-finding purpose after injury or illness — we help create the routines, hacks, and opportunities that turn everyday life into your version of adventure.

We support people of all ages with conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, developmental delay, autism, acquired brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy, CMT, and hypermobility disorders.

Big, small, bold or everyday —

whatever your adventure looks like, we’re here for it.

Why Choose Beyond Boundaries Rehab?

At BBR, we don’t define success by what the textbook says. We define it by what lights you up. That could be cooking dinner, playing wheelchair basketball, skydiving, reading a bedtime story, or simply getting through the day with more ease.

We don’t do

cookie-cutter therapy.

We partner with you,

not talk at you.

We celebrate every win.

(even the tiny, silly ones)

We believe every human is a contributor,

not a case file.

Less therapy. More living.
